No, but who would fly those RJs anyways? It's a dying model.

Yes, but. RJs via a capacity purchase agreement we are now protected. But, that's a dying model with no pilots to fly those little things for cheap anymore.

But, we could "codeshare" with JetSuiteX probably... Our codeshare limits aren't specified in the bullet points, so we don't know if we've clawed anything back or if we are still going to partner with anyone with a twin-aisle aircraft so we never have to buy any...

Lately Delta guys have been having a lot of heartburn over joint venture and codeshare agreements, we don't know yet how that is protected.

Don't get me wrong, I NEVER want to see a subcontractor RJ in JetBlue paint.

question, when the road shows come around will we get a shot at mock bid with these rules in place? very curious how people will bid. bid the 10hr 3days that would be 15hrs now Or will those redeyes be jammed into all other pairings. Reserve being better, I'd like to get an idea how things will play out in real life

You can't make that argument contractually. Legacies have regionals and therefore account for that in their contract. We don't and therefore can't use that as negotiating capitol.

Per the ALPA guide. Average Daily Guarantee

Delta - 5:15

Alaska - None (5 per duty period)
Spirit - None (4:30 per duty period)
Southwest 5:39
Hawaiian- 4:10

JB AIP - 5:00
Actually, 6.5 TFP works out to 5.65 hours (divide by 1.15). Our 3 days pay a minimum of 19.5 TFP (16.95 hours), but those are considered garbage trips. Realistic TFP/day is probably mid to high 7s.

Why don’t you shut up and let JetBlue figure their own stuff out. You and your jailhouse lawyer scope expertise. If it’s so bad at Spirit why don’t you just leave!?! Maybe JetBlue has a scope clause you can approve of. Because clearly you want them to “blow” Spirit away.

What a stupid thing for a Spirit pilot to say. Any Union pilot for that matter.

A simple “congratulations on your TA- I’m sure your group will vote it up or down based on its merits” is more than enough.

JetBlue pilots- ignore this clown- he pulled the same nonsense on the Spirit boards.

Do what’s right for you, your pilot group, and your airline. You keep those in mind, you’ll be doing what’s right for the industry.

It’s absolutely ridiculous for a pilot from another airline to pretend to know what makes sense at your property.

GOOD LUCK!

I welcome opinions from other pilots. A lot of our pilots only ever flew 135 or regionals so they have no idea how far behind in every metric jetblue is.

And thus is the FALSE CHOICE perpetrated by the defeatists, yes-men, the beaten down, and the apologists. Pay or Rules, but not both.

There is no reason you can't have both. You know it was Robin that said you can have pay or rules, but not both. You have been played.

Don't settle for less, VOTE NO.
