OSC is claiming they are going to run a class of 60 in a couple of weeks. Been here a long time and don't remember anything close to that number at once before.

Do they have sim capacity for that? Otherwise it will create a logjam. A lot of airlines are going to be up against that problem next year.

With the addition of the rented Dallas sim, and newhires going to the 320 and 220, yeah, doable.

Jan 2007 had 69 (spread across 3 classes 2 weeks apart)
march 2006 had 92 spread across 3 classes (3/1, 3/15, 3/29).
june 2019 had 72 spread between 2 classes.

With the 30 that started yesterday, we are at 70 for this month (between 9/1, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29 classes).

There’s a class in 2 weeks on the 13th (supposedly the 60 strong one), then another on the 27th. So, if the 27th class is 32 or smaller, total monthly throughput still wouldn’t be a record (though class size definitely would be).

We have the sims to do it imo. I assume we have the instructors now? I hear the adjuncts are quite busy these days, and doing more than just recurrent.

Where are the 220 sims at?

Just one as of now I think. It’s in Orlando with the rest of the sims (except the one they are renting time in in Dallas). I think a second 220 sim will come in the next year or two but I could be wrong on that.
