11 new deliveries and 4 used planes this year. Max capacity of the school house was around 500/yr. That should increase with the addition of the sim building extension and new sims coming on line this year. Not sure what the deal is with such small classes, usually if there are large ones they run in the winter/spring. Summer is typically slow and then some larger classes in the fall.

In addition to annual training center capacity limits, there are also monthly throughput limits. If you keep running small classes, at some point the monthly throughput limits require you can never hire the planned 580+...
In my opinion, no way 580+ happens in 2020.

They'll probably finish with similar numbers like last year is my guess. (around 400.) They could have big classes coming up which will change the end of year actual projection. I think January had a large class.

Is 400 equal to 580? I thought I was good at maffs but these new equivalencies that aren't equivalent confuse me.

They just reduced flying a couple months ago and I’m sure more is on the chopping block. If you’re based in LGB, you’re based at an airport that would love it if you ceased operations tomorrow....LGB hates Jetblue, and probably every other airline that flies there.
