Default Mucho Gracias, Amigos

I would just like to take the opportunity to thank the crew and gate agent working the PHX flight tonight for getting me on the jumpseat.

We were in early from LHR and as I cleared customs I thought, what the heck, I will give it a shot. I dashed over to T5, made it through KCM and ran up to the gate only to see the door closed with 16 minutes to go! I waved in the window and the Captain and the gate agent came out to get me checked in and on the flight.

Both went out of their way to get me home, saving me an overnight stay in JFK. I really appreciate this and, as always, you guys and gals are welcome on my jumpseat.

I have also had a great experience with the Delta peeps as well. 30; years living in base spoiled me, now I’ve been commuting for a year and a half and it’s the kindness extended that makes this commute bearable.

Oops, mi espanol es malo.

Yeah, I am so happy to be home. Starting 3 weeks of time off, I’m ready for it. It’s been a busy summer.

You guys took care of me JFK to DFW and even got my bags in the cockpit (I was in the jumpseat). That’s the nice thing about those 737 day trip guys. No bags! Hope I’m thinking of right airline...

That's REAL culture. BJ gets no credit for that. Let's keep being excellent to each other.

That, my friend, we can agree on.

I’ve lost count I’ve been in the jump on AA or UAL and the crew has offered me their meal. I can’t wait to return the favors with my eat up box

FA on AA gave me a meal from first while in the jumpseat. Ravioli/tortellini looking thing. Had walnuts in it. I’m allergic to walnuts. Which is why I never eat anything that remotely looks like it has walnuts. Who the heck puts walnuts inside pasta destined for an airplane? Emeril maybe? The only nice thing about the cheap JB uniform pants is that the needle on an Epi pen goes through them just fine.

“Do we need to divert?” Nope. Got my own pen right here. And I’m gonna follow that by dissolvable Benadryl. So I’ll be asleep in 30 min. Carry on.

As an aside, on a Mint flight I worked, 4 of the 5 meal choices had walnuts. The whole other genre from peanuts to hazelnuts are just fine. It’s walnuts and pecans that kill me. So I’m good with my Eat Up box
