I’ve had plenty of disagreements with Hyperboy on here but at least he’s volunteering his time to help out pilots. What exactly do you do to try to change things that you’re always complaining about on here? Is this web board your only action? The union is always looking for volunteers. Maybe it’s time for you to step up. We’re going to be negotiating our next contract in a few years. There’s definitely things that need to be fixed. Posting on here is a good start but it’s not going to get to the right people. Accusing volunteers on here of being “juicers” automatically ruins your argument no matter how good of a point you had in the first place. And you do have some good points, as does bluedriver. But many of those points get lost in these annoying threads that turn into elementary school name calling.

You’d be hard pressed to find someone more involved than hyper. Volunteers time on all fronts and rarely misses a chance to stay informed at a union meeting (that he commutes to.) If you want advice or input on getting hired here, ask him. There are few around (and not on this board) with more pertinent information than him. If he gives you resume or interview advice, listen.

Just put down you are excited to work for less and you are thrilled to have little to no career progression. Tell them you are really clean ...in fact put that number one...and your favorite city in the world is Queens.
Consider it a blessing if they don’t hire ya.

Queens is a borough not a city.
