Don't kid yourself. This company will always need VDAs.

RSA is a live in base kind of thing. Commuters aren't going to do them. 150% for premium open time. Otherwise, VDA at 200%. RSAs are the dumbest thing this pilot group can do--especially once the full contract is implemented.

Well I guess we’ll see then. If you live in DCA and a crew just timed out, then yeah that’ll be a VDA call. Otherwise on a “normal” day when we’re still understaffed, RSA’s and Premium open time will be the game in my opinion. Don’t really see why RSA’s are useless at 175%, especially when there are times where they won’t call you. (Yes, it does happen.) Also sadly I know a few commuters that fly to domicile to sit RSA.

Ya it's kinda a bummer it'll be more power to the Flica Ninjas and bots. (I know we have some sort of prevention now but there's ways around captchas etc too.)

For those who's tenure does not exceed but a few years this type of response has happened more times than most could count.

For the record, NOTHING has changed, the responses elicit a temporary response and pilots never stop lapping up the muddied waters of RSA/VDA. Somethings will never change.
