No apology needed, no worries...I hate grammar police internet arguments (they generally exist only when substance is no longer being debated well), and I try to abstain from participating, but occasionally like pointing out grammar police irony. I’ll go back to debating how awesome jetblue is now.

You are correct kind Sir. There is the exception rule. Thanks for pointing it out, that others may learn. Irregardless, to Affect means to influence or to produce a change in something. (Kind of like I before E, except after C, eh? Unless one is feisty or weird. Or performing a robbery. Silly language, ours!)

ETA: And no, my argument against him was and is not lost. Far from it.

Guys there are optimists and pessimists in the world. That’s a way of life. I hope none of you have the dumb idea of burning the house down with you in it. The happy to be here guys don’t necessarily have to be juicers and automatic yes voters but choose to have a positive outlook on things and even try to see the best in a trip everyone hates. The pessimist will see even the best position and find something wrong. I do agree the company isn’t doing any favors helping morale and you can see it in the line. I myself think I’m optimistic and rather have that as a way of life for my mental health. Within the last month I have down with guys excited and optimistic about Europe thinking it’s going to give the company direction, I have also flown with a guy that says every company that has done it has failed and we will be doomed we, should focus focus on the Midwest growth because frontier and spirit are growing. Who knows who’s right. What I do know is that they are all pilots with little to no real notion on what the plan is or should be. The problem is they’re letting that dictate how they do their job and how they feel about coming to work. Simple if you don’t like it leave. It’s never too late but the pessimist will find a problem with that too. Both of the sides literally come on here like no other forum I’ve come across to argue their points highjacking what may very well be useful information sources for others. Take a look at any of the sub forums and it turn into children arguing. All this obviously is said completely in my opinion before anyone gets offended. I know how this can get!

Guys (me) getting boned by the company for almost 3 years as a 190 Capt has got my blue juice shamWOW squeezed to BONED dry!!! My schedule blows every month. No flexibility. No reasoning as to why. The CBA smoking me more by the day. April, I have a same day pairing on back to back 3 days. Guess what? Our industry leading rules make it so that it’s not a same day pairing because the ADG starts after 0200 in pairing construction. I didn’t waive same day pairings in the bid, but guess what? I didn’t have to. Jetblue did it for me. Don’t worry I’ll swap it out. NOOOOOOOOPE! Can’t. All days are red now. F-Me.
