Meanwhile at Delta....

Strange that they can be so profitable while paying their employees. The share holders must really hate all this success.
If only they would follow Jetblue's amazing model, then it would be off to the races.

But JB allows its employees to fly in Mint for free! What's that, Delta already gives their employees free upgrades?
Oh.
But JB gives us a free shuttle from Kew Gardens to JFK! What's that, Delta does that too? AND a shuttle to LGA?
Oh.
But... JB added additional nail polish colors to the approved list.
That makes up for getting swindled and lied to by JB management, right?

The fundamental difference between a carrier like Delta and what ever Jetblue is boils down to one.simple.principle.
Delta views its employees as assets, Jetblue views it employees as liabilities. That will never change. Delta admitted to learning from its mistakes. Jetblue arrogance dictates it doesn't make mistakes.

JB views their employees as cost lines on some accountant's spreadsheet. Nothing more.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great place to work now, and Flight Ops says they’ll always have our back, but it might only last until the next downturn. Who knows. Good luck to you guys.

And the shuttle isn’t free...the FA’s and pilots have to mandatory tip $1. 🤑

The Kew runner shuttle is paid for by inflight for the FA’s. Pilots can only ride if there is a seat available after all the FA’s have been accommodated. I’ve spent many mornings standing at the 7-11 only to have no seats and have to call a Uber or taxi.
