The 220 rollout will be different than the 190. The 220 will have already been flying in revenue service for 4.5 years world wide.
Swiss flew the first flight in July 2016. We are getting 1 in late 2020 and SLOWLY taking more in 2021. The overall % of system wide flights will be very low in the beginning of the program.

There’s a year of pain either way. If you stay on the old jet every month the schedules get a little bit worse and the maintenance is bare minimum. Then training gets backed up to go over. Some people will end up doing very little/nothing for a while. But it’s luck of the draw who it will be.
