I am still in phase 2 and the background check is moving really slow. Does anybody from this date already receive a class date or still waiting like me ? Thanks

Phase 2 since 1/23.

Folks, I would find out exactly what GIS is waiting for and make it your job to ensure they get it.

If other folks are moving through quicker that sounds to me like they are waiting for something.

Also, remember you are just a “Case #” to GIS.

Exactly this. I would be calling them every day if people were starting class ahead of me. They are notorious for "sitting" on the packet even when they have all they need.

I would call every other day during the week. They are open until 8:30 pm eastern. If you get someone less helpful try again later in the day. Some at GIS are better than others. I finally got the confirmation from GIS that my BGC was complete and I called again the day after to make sure it was sent to JetBlue. Keep on them, politely. Now I am just waiting on jetBlue. Hope to hear something, anything soon.

GIS is a terrible company. I had to call over and over and got different answers every time.
