No idea who that is or if there’s any truth to it, just some dude on the interwebs saying it.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was as simple as Pepsi is headquartered in Purchase,NY. Jetblue is New York’s “Hometown” Airline. We also don’t like Delta.....Delta is synonymous with Atlanta, just like Coca-Cola. :)
