I would suggest calling GIS as often as you wish. The company structure isn't the best in terms if speaking interdepartmentaly, but every individual I spoke with was more than happy to help me with what they could.

A phone call is coming to offer you a class date.

If you care, make sure you ask the slots for Bus/Embraer for the next class...

No word here yet, gis said they haven't received the pria from a former employer yet and that's all they need to complete the check. Hopefully they get it this week.
8 + weeks in phase 2 :confused:

This doesn’t make sense as they don’t run pria after phase II is complete?

In the same boat. I think GIS just looks at a list of what needs to be done yet and when we call them, they make it sound like they sent the Pria requests and they aren't coming back, when in reality Pria hasn't been sent out yet.

Week 9 starts tomorrow. Hope to hear something soon.

4/26 interview, 5/3 Phase II began, received Phase II complete email on Friday, 6/28. Mr. Dooks, if it helps, GIS said my case was still pending (PRIA etc) the day before. I'm still really not sure how this whole process works even after calling them two-three times a week for the past 8 weeks.

Actually, they did send the pria forms out a couple of weeks ago, I got back the copy from my current employer already and I called the prior one and they verified receipt of it. Your guess is as good as mine on what it means

Does anyone know when the next available class date is. How many are swimming in the pool from other interview dates? Will it be a while for the phone call or should we expect to hear something soon?

Next class is 7/24. They are every two weeks.

Hoping for a call but I'm guessing this will be a slow week at HQ.

Anyone in the 7/24 class? Only a couple days left to have a full two weeks notice, just curious to know if it’s full or if they are still adding folks...

They called me on Friday 7/5 and offered the 7/24 class. I unfortunately couldn’t take it, and am waiting for them to set dates for August classes.

When GIS says they are waiting for DOT, what specifically are they waiting for from DOT? I assume its different from the DOT Questionnaire form right?

I asked the person that answered and she has no idea, its not like she works there :D:D

My guess is that it is your file from the FAA just saying you actually have the certs/ratings and any training failures. No one can give you really any particular information and they told me the caseworker wasn't allowed to accept phone calls.

Keep asking specific questions, employment verified etc.... because for me their answer changed once or twice throughout the process. My case was still pending the DOT etc, the day before I got the Phase II complete email. Best of luck and continue to stay on top of it.

Anyone else from 4/25 or 26 still in phase 2? I got the dot questionnaire last week, not sure if that means anything.

I received the questionnaire 2 weeks ago. I don't think it means anything other than someone looked at your file and noticed it wasn't done yet. Some people did them right after phase 2 started and others much later. Still in Phase 2 myself.

The last time I spoke with someone I said I'd need 2 weeks notice, that was right after phase 2 began back in May.

Yes. I emailed them with my availability. They replied and told me that they’d put me down available for the Aug 21 class. That was end of June after Phase II

I emailed them with my availability after I got the Phase II passed notice. They replied that they have me marked available for the 8/21 class. That was at the end off June.
