How come we are leasing sims out to silver airways? Buddy was asking me this after running into them.

Hadn’t heard this....

Prob to give their new hires ATPs? If their is excess sim capacity, then why not sell it?

Not sure if it’s the same but I was on a short MCO overnight grabbing food and ran into two guys talking pretty loudly about JetBlue and their aviation interests. Turned out they were CapeAir guys who were coming down for a couple days in the Sim. I guess CA and JB have an agreement where the guys get in the sim, JB can get a feel for them and vice versa. First I heard about it.

When I was down there in January there was a Mexican crew using the airbus sims. Only assuming on down times they rent out the sims.
