Competitive Hiring Minimums
When were you hired?
What were your 'stats' at the time of hiring? Were you a veteran? What was your timeline from CJO to beginning training? |

Not a veteran, and they had a resume that was over a year old with significantly lower time than I had at the time of my interview, including much less TPIC. I think the old resume had about 3,200 hours. From Phase Two complete to class was just over two months, and Phase Two lasted about a month. |

I was hired this Spring.
3800TT and 1100TPIC in the E170 and 4 year non-aviation degree from state school. Not a vet myself but my class probably had 5 or 6 out of 15 that were. CJO to class was exactly 2 months. |
Does attending job fairs get you noticed any quicker?
3500 TT 400 TPIC (121 regional) 1300 A320 (Middle East airline) Current FAA ATP with 320 type Any chances? |

I’d say attending a recruiting event definitely helps people get pulled out of the stack quicker. I don’t believe JetBlue Pilot Recruitment shows up to these events just to tell everyone “we aren’t accepting resumes” like a lot of the other Major airlines have started doing. After spending a couple months in the school house and talking with lots of new hires I’d say you definitely are competitive because I met other new hires with your experience or less. If you have a 4 year degree and +1000TPIC (JetBlue preferred minimums) I’d say the phone should be ringing any minute with the amount of hiring we are doing. |

I know a few guys that got the call after attending a job fair, just make sure you applied in the most recent window before going to the job fair.

Is it even heard of for JetBlue to hire anyone with 1700TT and 620 turbine time? Curious if it’s even worth my time applying yet
