I don't know. We would only give up SOME of our seniority, generally get a higher payrate, get ACTUAL Profit Sharing, join a seniority list with massive retirements and if you consider your new seniority percentage in the context of UAL narrow-body pilots, probably wouldn't lose any relative seniority at all.

Obviously if you want to compare yourself to the top half of the seniority list that is on the wide-body aircraft, different story, but overall with the proper perspective, not as bad as some make it out to be in my opinion.

I’d rather be a little less senior at united than just be out of a job. This management team is absolutely horrible. Come on United!!! Or delta, american, swa, Alaska, spirit......anyone

I want to drive to BOS to start my trips for the next few decades

I'm not optimistic that a BOS base would survive longer term with JFK/EWR/IAD. But c'est la vie. I'll move to one of their hubs (which are much better choices than our current ones) if that happens. There are certainly a ton of better things that would come with a UAL merger, so I shouldn't just talk crap about it.

Yes, Spirit please buy us. This place will be out of business in a couple months. Heck I’ll even take Sun Country.

So much hot air. It would take you 10 years or more to catch back up financially.

Lol, what exactly has United management done that's so awe-inspiring?

DL management has separated themselves from the rest......but United? I'd say the only smart thing they did years ago was realize that merging was better than competing.

Well, for one, they didn't take away everyone's profit sharing...

How long have the UAL pilots had a CBA?

While i think this is an amazing stretch. A UAL merger would suck. And the misery would continue.

SWA pulling out of EWR, getting their NY ducks in order prior to JB acquisition?

I’ve been waiting years to fly to Branson and Harlingen!
