Vets in Blue
 

Does anyone have a clue how to find out more information about the Vets in Blue events??? I submitted my application twice now and checked veteran but haven't heard about anything. Just hoping to get to the event if it's still available.

Thanks CPT. Any idea how one goes about getting an invite?

Have an application on file from the most recent window and indicate veteran status...and your app on file has to meet published minimum requirements. That said, I don’t know if they are pulling names for invites from last window or the one that is currently open. Hyperboy can probably answer that better than anyone.

Yeah, I re-applied 1 OCT and checked veteran status. I meet all the minimums but I haven't heard anything. I was told invites went out a couple of weeks ago so I'm not sure how I got passed over but hopefully I can figure out a way to get there

I just got the invite for the Nov 19th Vets in Blue job fair.

Me too, do you know if there is a cost associated with the event?

Just got one also. I believe the costs are getting yourself there and a hotel etc etc.

Event is free. Lodging/Transpo is on you.

I applied in the most recent window and got the invite online for Vets in Blue. I filled out the survey but haven’t heard anything back. Anyone know how long it usually takes to find out if you got a slot at the event. Im working on bidding for days off next month.
