Here’s the theory - Most legacies will be on the backside of the retirement wave in 2025, so most of their hiring for retirements will be done, or you’ll be stuck at the bottom of their list post 2025. B6 on the other hand will then be on the upward ramp for it’s retirements. The E-190 will be mostly gone/done at B6, and our rates on the A220 and A320 will be on par with WN and Legacies on similar equipment. The Europe flying will also be established for B6 with some type of “over-ride” pay for LR/XLR, and I predict a Midwest or a few new focus cities offering different basing options. Overall theory, a more attractive landscape for B6 hiring.

All of that being said, almost every airline now has some sort of Ab Initio program. So newbies are here to stay for a long while.

Just an opinion!
If you're not entirely correct, at least will be more balanced and not as much advantage towards legacies. Still might not have any widebody aircraft, but might have orders.

I'm torn on a Midwest domicile. Not sure if there are any good options left that aren't heavily fortified by the big 4. Which options could you see?

Chicago! Oh, wait... no they blew their chance and Spirit and Frontier moved in.

Austin! (Not midwest, but that was the rumor) Oh wait... no they blew their chance and Delta moved in.

KC! St Louis! Oh wait... no, SWA is already too big there.

My money is on Cedar Rapids.

The only wide bodies B6 will fly around are overweight people. Maybe you could use your profit sharing to help out with the order cost !!!

American announced service today from BOS to RDU/ILM/IND. I wonder if IND will come online this year for blewjet.
