About to get turned away for the jumpseat.

So they tell me I’m supposed to be listed through my ID Travel but neither they nor I can find where to do that on the website.

Any help? They won’t clear me in CASS without a “listing”

Select ‘Pilot Commuting Listing’

WHACKMASTER 01-06-2020 01:55 AM

Nope. Not working. It’s pushing now anyway. Gotta love it....

Whack,
Did you go to the SWAPA guide and follow the directions? The website name is finicky and has to be entered exactly like it appears in the guide. It isn't the same one that AA uses. Sorry that happened to you. I have made a successful listing on B6, but only using the idtravel website that the guide specified.

Gate agents can still list you, if they didn’t, then they were just lazy and didn’t care. Report to your j/s committee.

Sorry you had to deal with this. Please contact your JS committee with names, or at least the city pair, gate, airport, etc so it can be rectified.

For future reference, here’s a post I made a month and a half ago with the same issue. Feel free to cite their AO manual saying they can make a listing:

The Airports Operations Manual specifically says a listing can be made at the ticket counter, gate, or just ask desk (6.5.7.1). Any rogue gate agents saying otherwise need to be PDRd to be set straight. I’d suggest getting name/employee number as well as reminding them that the AOM specifically says it can be done.

It is least painful if you get the myidtravel stuff worked out though and just make a listing yourself, but it absolutely can be done at the gate.

Already ran up the ladder with SWAPA. If only those agents tried to get on my flight one day. I’d love to return the “favor”.

We have the worst gate agents in the 121 world behind aa and that is saying something.

I had this issue before. Within my ID travel you have to select “southwest” as the airline. If you just clear B6 and it says “all other airlines in GDS” it won’t allow you to list “pilot commuting”

For a listing on B6? OP is a SWA pilot who was trying to commute on B6. I haven’t heard of selecting the airline as southwest.

Also, As a B6 guy commuting on SWA, I can do pilot commuting by selecting southwest or by all airlines.
