If they were smart they would turn bna into a base and have it as their mid continent connection (as mid continent as Jetblue can get). Gives them relief from the east coast weather but not to far out of the way.

Sorry guys, BNA just isn't going to happen without a *****MAJOR*****(I wish I could emphasize MAJOR more strongly) shift in strategy.

As it is now, they have no resources (other than cash and stock buybacks) and can't handle the current plan let alone a new one. And... By the time JB got around to building BNA they will be 5 years too late, as usual.

In short, we can barely handle what we have now so I seriously doubt any new focus cities for awhile. But hey, we will have up and down the east coast on lock.
We've been adding frequency out of JFK to fully utilize all slots for some reason. The current FAA Slot Order that controls JFK is set to expire in October 2020, so there will likely be some sort of extension/amendment at that time. My guess is JB will make a fuss over AA not utilizing a ton of their slots, and ask for the FAA to revoke them. It wouldn't look good if JB wasn't utilizing all of their slots at the same time.

Plenty of room to grow in BNA. Plenty of gates....
