Lost track of my days! Yes, I meant Friday.
Too many schedule changes has left me confused...

Most of the unfavorable items are tied to the grants such as no furloughs until after 9/30, executive pay freeze, no stock buy backs, and must maintain service to every city the airline already had service to. Far less stipulations on the loans because they will be paid back.

How dare one be optimistic during these times, but this is an interesting read.

What Airline is still considered an LCC (maybe), has an order book of A220-300’s, A321LR/XLR’s for narrow-body long haul, and is invested in electric/hybrid technology?

Dare we say something actually good could come out of this, assuming we survive the next few years.

With proper leadership, there’s a ton of opportunities coming out of this. I tend to be an optimist. Time will tell.

Default Circumstances beyond control...furlough pay.

There’s two distinct sections on furlough pay. Under “circumstances beyond control” the max is two months vs. six months specified in other cases. So what is Covid classified as?

I don’t have it in front of me, but I believe there’s an excerpt where circumstances beyond their control doesn’t include the state of the economy. So I’m sure that’s what ALPA will argue, and the company will have the opposite viewpoint.

Even one person furloughed is too many, but hopefully it doesn’t reach the point to those eligible for six months furlough pay.
