There are some captains hitting 150-200. One guy in my pad keeps saying he’s done for the month then keeps coming back in after he picks something else up. He lives in open time constantly hitting refresh. Whatever. I’ll keep taking VILs for a while and enjoy my life.

Thats the problem. A few get fat while everyone else can’t even get scraps. We need a better system. You shouldn’t have to live on Flica to pick up some extra hours. Hopefully the next contract addresses this.

Neither ALPA nor the company cares. They get theirs and that’s all that matters. All we can do is let our reps know and keep pressing the issue.

Who cares? As long as it is done legal why do you care who gets the trips? Sure there are times that I want a trip and I don't get one. Sure sometimes I may get little frustrated . I clearly do not want it bad enough. I AM NOT WILLING TO LIVE MY LIFE LIKE THAT. Others are willing to give their life, and soul to FLICA and the refresh. Yes let's spend money in section 6 on what? Telling others they are to fast when picking up trips on FLICA. That sounds like money well spent? When I was a bus FO I flew with a captain that had 3 laptops out enroute dialed into flica. Three. Not exactly what I’d call legal. But he pointed out I needed to climb at 500 fpm (not the 400 I was doing) between FL360-370.
