Layover Quarantine/Procedures

Some of us haven't flown since the pandemic started or since certain foreign layover cities have opened. Can anyone chime in on updated procedures at certain destinations we layover? Come winter I'd like to enjoy some beach and sun but not if it means an onerous procedure or being required to stay in a hotel room. Thanks.

Nothing anywhere I’ve been. Just the stuff that you’re likely used to. Few places still have gyms closed, some are outside dining only etc. There is no sort of room quarantine anywhere.

Just bring your “essential worker” letter with you. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d860726813.gif

Pretty sure a room quarantine has never happened.

Haven’t flown since August but I did quite a few layovers and there was really nothing notable that I can remember. Just bring a mask and you’ll be fine. I was able to go out for food in BOS, JFK, SJU, LAX, GYE, and MCO.

Room quarantines and isolations are def going on..be sure to check the latest updates before you travel.

I’m thinking more your St Lucia, BGI, Aruba , Bermudas....

I know some for tourists require a Negative PCR before arrival (dont expect they’d require that of crew) and some require a test upon arrival. Makes sense (to me). I just don’t want to bid a layover only to find out that I’m stuck in my hotel room until I get the results of my test 3 days later when I’m already home. Domestically I don’t expect any procedures.

COVID-19 e-mail has a “Travel Restrictions” link. Not sure if that’s it or not though.
