Pilot Covid vax at JetBlue
 

Y’all I’m reticent to post this but I do like to try and shut down conspiracies whether from the right or the left.

there’s a story floating around out there that an anonymous Whistle blower JetBlur pilot reported there were 5 JBLUE pilots over the past few months that got the vaccine and then passed away (theoretically due to getting the va. Can someone confirm/explain.

Fake news. I won’t get into their causes of death publicly, but they weren’t from the vax. Also, it was 4 pilots and apparently one FA, fwiw. But, nothing even remotely close to covid vax deaths. And their names and some of the causes of death were published in obits, might be able to find them open source. I won’t be linking them though.

Given the source… I expected as such. I’m not a conspiracy guy and figured if there was any legitimacy to it there would a discussion on here, but told the person I’d at least check into it.

This is one where the fact checking sites reporting on it might actually be useful.

I would bet that it’s unvaccinated guys wanting to believe it. To justify their decision.

Haven't heard this one yet, although there was a similar story circulating recently about four British Airways pilots who had also unfortunately recently passed. The connection to the vax was quickly debunked.

Strangely I know what you are talking about. I happened to stumble upon a wild and crazy anti-vax Instagram account that posted a collage image of 5 JB pilots who have passed in the last year and a half. With absolutely no facts, this account posted it claiming that the vaccine was the cause.

Here’s the thing. I knew one of the pilots. He had battled cancer and passed before vaccines were distributed. I think it’s disgusting how people post stuff like this and drag these people into their ridiculous agendas.

It’s just an Instagram account. But you have no idea how many people are viewing it and believing it. It’s scary how misinformation is shared so easily. When you call them out, you’re a sheep.

Just read an article about a mother who had a miscarriage and then got the vaccine 3 months later. Some antivaxxers photoshopped some of her IG images to make it look like the vax caused the miscarriage and blasted it all over Facebook and Instagram. People are terrible.

I appreciate the replies. It was just a rando friend who asked me if I’d heard anything about it with a link to an obscure (at least to me) right wing “news” site. But, everything isn’t fake all the time, so I figured I’d ask. I’m not surprised at the answers. 👍🏻👍🏻
