Did one of the cockpit crew come out of the cockpit in the latest incident? This reported by the media.

HR.911 has already been introduced in the house that would require a secondary barrier to the flight deck. This event should help move the bill along, but we shall see.

(a) In General.—Not later than 18 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall issue an order requiring installation of a secondary cockpit barrier on each covered aircraft.

That’s asking for trouble. Nothing like a hazmat event on the flight deck.

Good thing there isn’t a coffee maker in the flight deck after seeing what crews make with them on overnights.
