HR.911 has already been introduced in the house that would require a secondary barrier to the flight deck. This event should help move the bill along, but we shall see.
(a) In General.—Not later than 18 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall issue an order requiring installation of a secondary cockpit barrier on each covered aircraft.
