Hey now, that was a Taco Bell managers uniform one of our pilots got sent to them. Perfect for when the furloughs that never happened happen.

Fortunately you don't have to spend your own money because your uniform allowance can be used for uniform tailoring.
No one outside the company knows the uniform situation at JB. I don't know the uniform situation at Delta, AA, etc, but when I see one of their pilots clearly lacking any self-respect looking sloppy with an ill-fitting uniform I am embarrassed for them and for the profession.
JB isn't a regional airline. Having a regional airline mentality doesn't bode well for contract gains in the future.

This is a funny post. By chance do you have a pair of pants laying around I can have? HPI doesn’t. Hasn’t for over two years.

Yes, and no… mostly no. What is our uniform allowance, $200? So you purchase two shirts and two pants per year at what $35(2) + $49(2) = $168. Then tailor each at a conservative $20 per. You’re already over $200, not including ties, epaulettes… etc. Oh and our uniform pants are dry-clean only.. hmm.
I agree on the aspect of a sloppy looking pilot, looks embarrassing and unprofessional. Yet our company has chosen not to give us properly fitting, lasting, professional looking uniforms. If the company is trying to save costs, why are we still paying more money for lessor quality uniforms? Anyone ever seen the quality and fit of A-Cut-Above? Literally years ahead of HPI and at a lower cost. Hands down, we are the least professional “looking” pilots out there. Once a month, customers think I am a TSA agent, or are confused I’m even a pilot since no one wears blue for a pilot uniform shirt.

All of my recent orders in the past six months have been fulfilled and received within a week. Including pants, but I'm not oddly shaped. By chance I do in fact have a few pairs laying around waiting for tailoring.

I have 3 30 waists I received recently still in the plastic. I'm $ure we can work out a deal. Sorry you've had bad luck with API. The quality is poor and there were supply issues in 2020 but I haven't experienced any delivery delay problems this year. But all that doesn't have anything to do with choosing to look sloppy which was my the topic of my original post you responded to.
