I would take a look at your commuting options and bid whichever base gives you more options to get to and from work. If BOS is the easier commute and the 190 is the only option I'd go that route. If LAX is the easier commute then that route. I used to commute AUS-DFW and some days it was a real bear with the increasing popularity of AUS.
I would avoid JFK 190 if your senority allows it. Last drop for that was back in Nov timeframe whereas the BOS 190 has had drops since then, so it appears as though jfk 190 is starting to stagnant.

They also have a reputation for always asking for wind checks and ride reports. But I haven’t heard either in real life for a long time. Things change. They’ve hired a ton since 2014. They have plenty of 25-35 year old captains. It’s not the 60+ year old retired fighter pilot and 35 year 60+ year old crusty guy in the left seat it used to be, with a bunch of young guys now in both seats. All of my delta buds came from various backgrounds and aren’t exactly dry. I jumpseat on B6/DL/AA a lot. None is really different than the other culturally. But, whatever makes bluebelles feel better about their choices in life.

There are some good reasons to stay a discount pilot. "Dry" pilots isn't one of them. Besides, Capt upgrade is what, a year? The kids (your new FOs) they hire these days probably aren't "dry".

I think it’s hard to change the culture completely and it’s not something I would use to pick where I work. Some of the newcomers at Delta will mimic the behavior of the older captains they fly with. Same with American….that place will probably always have some toxicity to it.
And just wait til this merger and SLI. You wanna talk about an angry and dysfunctional culture at AA, you ain’t seen nothin yet. DL culture will be a godsend compared to B6 in 4 years. Just my opinion though.
