hahhahahah with what the Fort Lauderdale based pilots?...or the SQ .........having said that.....maybe they would just make all LAX pilots get the ETOPS training....you know like all the other airlines

The talked recently about making Europe flights more seasonal, summer only (obviously not LHR/CDG/AMS). That leaves some long-range ETOPS aircraft available the other portion of the year to go South or West or both. Sending flights to HI for the winter months is definitely not out of the question.
