Is your math accounting for attrition? I've heard it's "down", but that's just a verbal statement they told us at CQ, no real numbers. Also, is LA attrition the same as JFK? Not to mention it may be artificially down because OALs are calling less right now. #Boeing. CP has told us the flight hours are remaining the same. .

At recurrent for me they said attrition is 25% of what they had planned for, which is a factor in why hiring has slowed until probably Q4 they said.

I don't want to believe this. With the NE airspace, these will fall apart very easily. However, if true, they will be very productive. I hope one of those legs isn't a red eye.

They didn't say too much about why. Just trying to keep the base relevant I suppose. Honestly, that was the only news of note. It was before the hiring freeze was announced.
They didn't have too many specifics for which routes or frequency, but mentioned Palm Beach as a top option.

I doubt you see JFK-LAX-JFK turns for the airspace/delay reasons you mentioned. That return leg LAX-JFK would be a doozy
