MEC Budget deficit

I know some of you aren't on other social media.

In light of the other recent events in the union, the MEC is currently running a 1 million dollar deficit through July 31st.

Total MEC Income - 4.825 million
Total MEC Spending - 5.896 million

FPL spending has been increased dramatically and the chairman has been much of the source of this liberalism of the FPL culture. Some of the agenda items in the MEC meeting including more FPL because the chairman believes he needs a full time Executive Assistant.

Agenda Item #15. Adding the EA to the communications process to circumvent other sitting Officers or delegate more of the Chairs duties. Source: MEC Chairman

Agenda Item #16. MEC Chairman giving the EA an additional 15hrs FPL for up to 50hrs a month. Source: MEC Chairman

Agenda Item #26. Removal of SPSC member for violation of the JetBlue ALPA Policy manual. Source: 191 NYC

Agenda Item #27. Request for all cost data associated with the 10 year party disclosed to pilot group. Source: 191 NYC

Late Agenda Item 2. Discussion of MEC Chairman's auto response to Reps and membership and the MEC Chairman's continued violation of the policy manual. Source: 191 NYC

The MEC members need to reign this in and seriously consider removing the chairman before we run out of money as we get deeper into section 6.

Oh the raging leftist that became the MEC chair is corrupt and likes to spend other people’s money for his personal benefit? Who would have thunk it? I warned the JFK reps about him, but was assured Keith would be able to stop him if he did anything stupid. So, do we need to recall Keith too?

Looks like the clown I warned people about resigned before he got recalled, but only after doing some financial damage to B6ALPA. This is why you don’t let that kind of person have power.

Why don't we leave the politics out of it please. Someone's personal politics has little to do with how they behave in a union. It may be popular right now to roast him at the stake, but I'm sure that whatever decisions were made as a group, and had reasons that sounded good at the time. Was the spending too much? Looks that way, and I hope they get it under control.

That said, you might want to go check the total deficits for each president since Reagan. If you're under the impression that the "liberals" are the ones overspending, you're in for a surprise if you'll actually look at the facts.

Hjemvick and Houck are perfect examples of how their personal politics got into the way of being effective union servant leaders. Corrupt commies gonna do what corrupt commies gonna do. So no, I won’t leave their politics out of it, thanks though.

I did 8 years of union work pre-JB.

This deficit is absolutely ridiculous.

Cool. Now do the MEC vice chair, who I know personally and whose political leanings are opposite of Houck. He still got caught in the mess. Take the corrupt commie bs back to Breitbart where it belongs.
