hmmmmm?

Wall Street analysts estimate that Frontier Airlines and JetBlue Airways would be the biggest beneficiaries of Spirit disappearing from the market.

I'll save you some time, we're not buying spirit. We don't want to grow, we want to shrink.

Yeah even if your management attempted to buy Spirit (again), it most likely would never materialize.

They are too inept to get the ball across the goal line, and ain't nobody passing up round 2 of historical hiring at the legacies to wait for another merger attempt with yetblew.

This was released a week ago. Spirit management just talking out their rear. “Multiple Counterparties” doesn’t mean airlines necessarily and doesn’t mean they are anywhere close if it’s multiple.

Very true. At this point NK management sees the writing on the wall and are trying to increase value or any sort of bidding war for assets(however limited). Based on previous reports their leases are too expensive and their business model ensured they owned very little. 475 mil with 200 up front and the remainder in installments based on metrics does not appear to sustain them for long.

Completely agree. There is nothing NK offers that another airline can’t do organically and cheaper. As NK shed routes, those voids were quickly filled by others. Keep in mind that NK management has to talk big to keep hopes alive for employees and investors. Bottom line is that NK continues to burn cash. Travelers are wary and their route structure has diminished greatly. I will be surprised if they make it until spring.
