Junior Assignment
I have seen the phrase junior assignment on a couple of the airline information pages. What does it mean?

It means that the company ran out of reserves to use and now they have to "ask" a line holder to come in on his day off. This wonderful gift is suppose to go to he most junior line holder that is available on that day.

Thanks

Doesn't happen much also, because usually when they see a trip that doesn't have coverage coming up, or whatever, they put it in open time, and whoever wants it, can work it for 150% Pay. |
