Accepting a Recall and the JB Contract
 

Can anyone give me some confirmed numbers on the amount of pilots at JB who have accepted a recall from their previous Part 121 carriers and have actually left within the 2 year period as prohibited in their employment contract?

some guys accepted the recall and were given an inmediate LOA from their Major until they could finished whatever was left on their 2 year contract with Blue (the full 2 years on a guy I know).

Actually we have 5 year contracts. Maybe they only had 2 years left???

I think he meant the 2 years no compete portion of your 5 year contract. The part that prevents you from going back to your former 121 carrier for 2 years.

I think that is what they are referring to.

that's what I was refering to snafu, the 2 year non-compete-can't go back to your previous airline clause.

Neeleman's a genius getting saps to sign a personal service contract with that clause in it. Poor dumb bastiges. LOL!

Myself and another guy from my class left after 7 months. We both returned to our previous airlines and I haven't been sued to date.
