As the others have asked, how long will it take to become an MCO 320 captain for someone hired today?
As for those SW FOs, they'll make more than many captains here while they wait for their upgrade. That is unless things truly do get better here. But the opposite has been true lately.....

Oh are you a prospective JetBlue applicant? I'm just stating the obvious conundrum one of them faces.......

Mco 190 CA went to around 8 years seniority a couple bids ago, 320 CA went way above that. And then don't expect any movement at all.
Of course that's for guys hired 9 years ago. Guys hired today will experience a much slower growth curve.

ALPA is on the property
I fly 11 days a month.
I have vacation over the summer.
I allow my seniority work for me rather than bidding junior Captain seat.
I have had several pay raises since I have been here.
I sell back Vacation
ALPA is on the property and doing a good job IMHO.
It has gotten better many from my new hire class are Captains!
We wait for our stellar CBA!

You're right, a 35% pay deficit totally makes up for not having to fly 4-5 legs a day and having more days off per month and more vacation time, and having 10 bases to choose from. What was I thinking.
