As the others have asked, how long will it take to become an MCO 320 captain for someone hired today?

As for those SW FOs, they'll make more than many captains here while they wait for their upgrade. That is unless things truly do get better here. But the opposite has been true lately.....

Mco 190 CA went to around 8 years seniority a couple bids ago, 320 CA went way above that. And then don't expect any movement at all.

Of course that's for guys hired 9 years ago. Guys hired today will experience a much slower growth curve.

^ This. 4-5 legs a day for me ain't gonna happen.

Each job is what you make of it, living in base is huge, and when we see a CBA I believe we are all in a good spot.

Dude your on reserve you can't base your life off that.....

ALPA is on the property

I fly 11 days a month.

I have vacation over the summer.

I allow my seniority work for me rather than bidding junior Captain seat.

I have had several pay raises since I have been here.

I sell back Vacation

ALPA is on the property and doing a good job IMHO.

It has gotten better many from my new hire class are Captains!

We wait for our stellar CBA!

You're right, a 35% pay deficit totally makes up for not having to fly 4-5 legs a day and having more days off per month and more vacation time, and having 10 bases to choose from. What was I thinking.

Real easy to say things are great when a lot of what's wrong with this place doesn't apply to you (reserve, vacation, lack of pay that you make up for because you get more time off than most and don't need extra vacation, low credit trips, and you probably pick up RSAs/VDAs). Keepsgettingbetter

It has gotten better many from my new hire class are Captains!
Also, what does this mean?
