Save the money and just read a gouge on Aviationinterviews.com. Know what questions they ask and how to answer them (research the STAR technique) and you’ll be good to go. I did FAPA and found it to be a waste. Your mileage may vary.

I’d heard good things about both. But decided on Emerald because they were holding a seminar nearby at the time. But probably more importantly you pay once and can use their services indefinitely (not sure if that’s the case with Cage). I thought they were well worth the money....

CBA Hiring increase
Increase in hiring for CBA.
I was talking with a checkairman recently, and I was told we are moving 150 new hires from next year, to this year. Making the total new hires for 2018, around 400.
As for next year the numbers are still up for review, but the number 400 was thrown out there.
Can anyone else in the know shed more light on this topic, or confirm this is correct?

Supposedly we can only handle 400 new hires a year along with our recurrent/upgrades/transitions. I've heard we have more sims coming but keep in mind towards the end of next year we're going to have to start training AB220 guys too. We've been told they are looking at possibility of another contract location but with JB instructors if the need arises.
On the flip side we have a pretty consistent history of overstating our future hire numbers.
