They are planning on waiving use it or lose it gate provisions in Europe. Did JetBlue even secure gates yet?

Do they even have gates yet? Or an airport?

Any idea how tight cash is right now? Will they amp up the refurb line while flying is reduced or is this more dire than we know?

We own 82% of our fleet, 9.9% operating margin, and a debt-equity ratio about .56. We are in a very strong position financially. I do think it would be smart to increase refurb capacity while flying is reduced. But the company does need to be smart about where it spends its money since we dont know how long this travel decline will last. I don't think deferring A220s would be smart, but I could see us parking a few 190s ahead of schedule if this drags on through summer. A delay to Europe wouldn't surprise me either, unless we can get some sweet LHR slots from a struggling carrier looking to raise some cash.

I’m sure they won’t cut that.

but at least our financial health is pretty good. You wouldn’t know it reading our CFO update.

....and that’s exactly how they want it. Big scary yellow numbers when some metric on the quarterly updates are down from the previous year.
