I know this is completely ridiculous but I might as well ask: I have access to a blue dart that will "expire" in a few months. I'm a CFI that has a CJO at a regional and near ATP minimums. Should I use this blue dart before this JB pilot retires to get an interview? I know I'm not exactly Jetblue material at the moment but I'd hate to let the opportunity go to waste at all. I figured at least I could be on HR's radar for future hiring.

Have your Blue dart talk to a CP (and maybe CL) since he wears so many hats.
I don't think you are nuts. The FOM was recently adjusted to accommodate folks without an ATP. I certainly don't think you are a shoe in, but I don't think you are dead in the water either.
PM me if I can help.

Initial timeline after application?
I have applied when the most recent window opened about a month ago and haven't heard anything back except for the "thanks for applying" email.
Under my profile > Jobs applied, it just says "we are currently reviewing all applications". I realize they are probably backed up but any idea how long it's taking these days? Should I email or call someone in the recruiting department? I have a couple internal recs.
3000 TT
1373 Part 135 PIC (Multi PIC but not turbine)
I am currently at a regional with only 100+ SIC (e170 type). Happy at the regional but seems many FOs are jumping ship and feel like that might be the right move instead of staying and getting TPIC.
No checkride or training failures.
Any help is appreciated!

I got hired last window. Applied within a week of it opening (2 at most) and I didn’t interview till mid December. I think you can stay put. It’s probably going through the review process.

Just got the welcome to phase 2 email this morning.
During the interview, they said that they are now offering class dates in advance of all the background checks being complete. Any recent PIREPs on what the wait time from the welcome to phase 2 email to being offered a class date and the class start date is?
Thanks in advance, thrilled to get the email and thrilled to stop commuting.
