Also, how long til we can hold long Call Reserve or a line out of JFK?

International Long Call/Short Call. It’s for the SQ people who do the Europe flying. Long call goes senior at JFK so you will most likely go straight from short call to having a line when it’s finally time.

International long and short call reserve, I believe it’s the distinction for SQ qualified reserves.

JFK 320 FO for January
Long Call- 4 or so months
Line-holder- 8 or so months (there are a ppl getting lines sooner here and there)

JetBlue gave me a TBNT email. About 2 weeks ago

I am unable to re apply on the website… there is no option at all.

Default What's competitive for JetBlue Lately?

Harsh doses of reality welcome in appropriate. I'm a YX new hire who had class canceled twice. I've done my written but no ATP checkride itself. The first time, I applied to JetBlue to see what would happen and I got a TBNT followed up by an encouraging email from a recruiter asking me to reapply once I had an ATP. Now, YX class dates are canceled until July. I have seen ads online that JetBlue is now hiring at 1500. If I were to obtain an ATP in a Seminole out of pocket, would I be at all competitive for JetBlue? 1500 TT, 900 CFI, 26 Multi, 0 Turbine

If you already have a ERJ-170, ERJ-190 type rating and you are hired on will JB put you on the 190? I am hoping for an addition to another type. If you are selected for the 190, is it a full training? Or differences training/procedures? I am in the process of selecting which LLC to get a date with.

Couple other questions:

-What is the junior base currently? Time to hold a line or LCR?

-How are the flight benefits? I would be a commuter, I have no JB flights leaving from my home airport unfortunately. Can your family fly on the Big 3, how’s the priority with that?

-Is training AQP, or traditional?

-Training pay? MMG, and per diem? Foot print for training?

-Is pay for a FO on the 190 $100?

Thank you!

You will be put on the airframe which your seniority can hold of the vacancies available at the time you start class, just like any other major airline. Honestly at this point in the game you should not care about collecting type ratings. Whether you have flown the type previously or not you will go through the full course (just like any major airline).

Flight Benefits- reciprocal jumpseat agreements with just about every 121 carrier, just like any other major airline. Zed agreements for you and your family with just about every US 121 carrier and extensive ZED agreements with intl carriers, your priority will be just like any OAL zed agreement (at the bottom, with an exception at AA where it is one step below the bttm).

I’ll let a 190 guy/gal answer the rest.

He wants more type ratings so he can look better for a legacy sooner rather than later.

That's why he's trying to select which Limited Liability Corporation to get a date with.

You will get the airframe that you can hold based on seniority on your first day (I think), you'll be notified of what bases and aircraft are available to bid for.
Training is AQP, and no matter if you have the type or not, it will be the full course.
Jr bases are JFK and BOS. Not sure about time frame to hold LRC.
As an offline commuter, you need two options to get you to work on time.
You'll have typical jumpseat agreements available to you. You'll be able to purchase standby tickets on most airlines for your family, but offline is always last on the list.
*There is an agreement in place with AA due to the NEA which will give you some higher priority, but I'm not really familiar with it.
