Keep your head in the sand. Do yourself a favor and email the comp and benefit committee. Better yet email Snoopy who quit because he got so frustrated with Jetblue. He has every fact you want. Comparisons of every policy out there and can prove how Jetblue does cause the issues in addition to the insurance company. He owns an insurance company if that helps you
Yes, because researching and attempting to find out these things is "keeping my head in the sand." I don't know who Snoopy is, or I would shoot him an e-mail.
As for causing the issue, as I said, I've never had an issue. Sorry if my reality doesn't match with yours. I'd be happy to meet up in person and compare notes, though. However, I won't be holding my breathe. Easy to be a tough guy through the anonymity of the internet.
BTW, I've yet to see an answer to my question. What would be the solution to the problem? Someone FINALLY sent me the info on the old Blue Care plan. Yes, if I were on that and was forced into what we have now, I'd be angry, too. So, would getting the same level as pilots had under Blue Care back be a satisfactory solution? What would you be willing to give up in order to get that back? This is the thinking we now need to shift to with ALPA voted in. People complained and got the means to change voted in. Now, it's time to shift from complaining to doing.

Anyone heard about any changes to their competitive hiring minimums? Rumors had been going around they are now requiring PIC turbine time and 5000 TT was a firm minimum. I just got a "TBNT" email after they asked for a new copy of my resume citing I didn't meet competitive hiring mins. @Kellwolf...so close man...so close!

No, this was prior to even interviewing. An email was sent requesting an updated resume, to be followed by an interview. Replied with resume, and then got the, "Not Competitive", email reply.
Hopefully I can get lucky again in the future and get another email from JB for an interview. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Anyone have a rough breakdown of pilots in bases and equipment 190/320?
Seniority to hold different bases?
Reserve in base is a whole different lifestyle than commuting so base would be more important than holding a line.
