Not that I can find. Gateway 6 is listed in page 10-92 to 10-93 located in your FOM... there is no listing of a non university cape air gateway program. If any cape air guys have been hired outside of the Gateway 6 path, then they are Gateway 1 or 2. They might have been gateway 5, which is an internal hire that has obtained a CMEL and has worked for Blue in another capacity for 2 or more years. These folks might have left to cape air, done the minimum time, and were hired on. *Jetblue sometimes works in strange ways, so who knows.

How about you show us then Climbto450? Everyone that has been hired here directly from Cape Air are part of the university gateway program. I'm confused why you're even arguing about it. It's pretty cut and dry. There's no conspiracy here.

They are not all part of the university gateway program, however they do come from Gateway 6, because you can't find it doesn't mean it is not there. It is embedded in there thanks to key ex JB personnel at Cape Air. We hired 4 people that I know of last year that had been at cape air and did not come from any of the ABBI accredited Universities, I have met all 4 of them and can tell you their names. There is no conspiracy I am a Gateway mentor and firmly believe in the program but you are simply misinformed because it isn't cut and dry. Any of your CPs or any of the regulars that do interviews can show you where the info is embedded in Gateway 6. It also is not mentioned plainly in the FOM which is why you probably aren't finding it but the loopholes are in the language which have allowed non university pilots to be pushed through Gateway 6.

According to our FOM (Flight Ops Manual), the Gateways are:
Gateway 1 - the normal process
Gateway 2 - Bluedarts (basically guaranteed interviews for anyone who gets a Bluedart from a Jetblue pilot)
Gateway 3 to 5 - for internals
Gateway 6 - university gateway - which is for graduates of AABI schools who go through the process and work at CapeAir (and I'm hearing rumors about Expressjet)

At a job fair about 3 months ago, I was told by a recruiter that 5000TT and 1000 TPIC was competetive at this time.
