Jetblue having no displacement language seems very hesitant to open anything now. Maybe one day, but I think it's going to be awhile before we get a DCA base if ever. (One can dream)

Yeah it's a moving target and everyone has a different answer.
I don't buy the 50+ deal that is a good chunk of flights.
I still don't even know what the effort is but as always it comes down to money. They could easily make dca/iad/bwi a base, God knows there are enough of us that live around here. But I am just a 190 FO what do I know. I think IF we ever let them have displacement language(and we will want something for that) the dca base might might happen.

I am a regional captain, all civilian experience, 7300 total, about 4100 tpic, regional pilot for the last 10 years. I live in socal. I don't know anyone at jetblue, so no internal recommendations or anything like that.
