Also, if I calculated the pay raise correctly these are the new rates. If so, not too bad.

looks like the cut paste didn't work as well as I hoped. The columns are: current/2014/2015/2016.

It'd be a paycut for a year 1 guy only if they are line holding above 78 or are getting used extensively on RSV to break guarantee.

Otherwise it's a zero sum game.

I was only on reserve for 5 months. The remainder I've credited over 80 hours each month. This month I have over 100. So it would be a pay cut for me, and likely everyone in my new hire class. We will all be on second year pay by the time this new PEA kicks in though.

Doesn't matter. Every hour over 78 is worth 33% less if he signs. If he doesn't sign, he loses out on a raise for 2ndyr-4thyr.

It's a kick in the teeth for newbs.

I don't disagree, I was just curious how many hrs the typical first year line holder flies.

LoL, as much as he can to pay the bills!

I don't know what this round of new guys are able to pick up. The door slammed shut on my class, we were on RSV for long time!

Cheers!

And the company's reasoning for this is because people are suing the company for something that happened well before I was here. The whole PEA situation is BS. I will most likely sign because it will be a raise for me while we vote in a union...

All us newhires got an email from Sandy saying the lack of a raise in 1st year pay was due to the 3A claim. Not smart enough to understand what that all means, beyond ~$1000 - $3000 less in 2014 if I sign (assuming an 81-85hr/mo sched), and no raise the following two years if I don't sign.
