All good stuff! Thanks for the tips. I honestly don't think it will be hard to sell my enthusiasm for blue....I'm a customer and I actually have wanted to work there forever, just never got a call.

I have a Georgia address and they hired me!

While I'm sure they hire plenty of people who have shotgunned their resume to everyone out there, the impression I consistently got was that JB wants to hire people who are passionate about working for JB. Getting face time any way you can, applying at every window, a resume that matches what the company is looking for, and internal recs are how you demonstrate that. When you get the 1-on-1 time at the job fair or finally land the interview, you'd better know a lot about the company and the culture, be able to answer both why you want to work for them specifically, and why you personally are a good fit.

I'd file both Blue Streak and Flying High under "Must Read" as well.

There was about 30 190 slots in the last system bid. Those will be filled with new hires. When people bid off for the 320 or upgrade new hires have to fill the void.

Check the email for monthly bid awards. In that email it tells you when the 1st window will be open, then you'll get an email after that window closes with details for the 2nd window, and so on...

The 1st and 2nd windows are based on seniority, so you won't see results til the end of the bidding period. The 3rd window (48hr First Come, First Served) is as the name implies. Be the first one to submit your request and you'll see an immediate (sort of) response.

Monthly bidding is done with Navtech PBS. You can access it here (left side, Navtech PBS Web, login): https://www.hellojetblue.com/pbs/index.html

Good luck to everyone trying to get an interview here. Excited to have more good folks come aboard.
Good God that is lame. Just be professional and try to act like you want to work here.

Any word as to how many pilots Jetblue is hiring per month, and how long that is projected to continue?

I think classss vary each month especially in the summer months but 250-300 a year for the foreseeable future is the word we have gotten.

How big are classes usually in the fall, after the slow summer months? Is there just one a month?

When up in full swing seems they run 2/mo and 12-20ish per class. Size will vary upon need obviously. But we have seen classes in the 40-50 range and as small as 5-6.

We're taking an average of a plane a month until he end of 2022. 2018 only 6planes. Soon you get on the better. ....obviously
