I commute out of MCO. Probably 80% I get a seat in the cabin and 15% I'm in the flight deck and very rarely 5% maybe I have to take a FA Jumpseat. Lots of frequency and plenty of jumpseats makes the commute pretty good. MCO-JFK is a bit better IMO with an extra flight or two and later ones to boot. Biggest problem with BOS is the last flight to MCO is sometimes 1930 or so. Occasionally they throw at 2200 flight in but it's not enough to count on it.

Been searching through some older posts today...any updates on current upgrade times on the E-190 and Bus, or how long it takes to switch from right seat in the 190 to right seat in the bus? Also, are there any supplements for first year pay? i.e. vacation sell backs, open time possibilities? Much appreciated!

Current upgrade is about 3.5 yrs on the 190 and about 4 to the bus. If I recall correctly. We have a very skewed seniority in the left seat. Junior man is in the 70th%. The junior will be junior for some time. I'd also expect many of the more senior fo's who bypassed to finally upgrade when we nail down a contract expecting better pay and work rule improvements.
Its a 2yr aircraft lock from the time you start training.
Don't plan on any extra income. There is RSA and VDA (reserve augmentation during low staffing and volunteer reserve both pay above guarantee) which are extra pay, but I wouldn't count on them. To sell back "vacation" which we call PTO you must have over 100hrs in the bank. Anything over 100 can be sold back at 150% every month. It's great once you get it, getting there can take some time especially when commuting. Open time pick up as a newb on rsv is possible, but anything you aggressively pick up on rsv days goes to your monthly guarantee. If you somehow score a pickup that's not on a rsv day it does go above guarantee... most of us believe that is a myth. 7/8 yrs on rsv here and I've pulled it off once. just my experience, but some will tell you they do it all the time, and I also don't go looking for ways to go to work... If we had a functional aggressive rsv pick up system I'd be on it like white on rice, but unfortunately it isn't set up to work that way.

3.5 years is actually a tad high for junior 320 captain. An October 2012 hire was awarded 320 captain in the December system bid. That's roughly 73% seniority.
Granted no one really wants to spend the holidays at OSC, which I think causes the December bid to go slightly more junior than others, it's still a testament to our reserve work rules that so many FOs bypass upgrade for so long.
Considering the Fall of 2012 was the beginning of the current wave of hiring, the reduction in our aircraft deliveries over the next several years, and the assumption that reserve work rules and overall pay will improve with our first contract, upgrade times will probably not stay this quick for long.
But who knows? Maybe the company will get sick of having so many captain RSA's and decide to finally properly staff for captains, thus negating everything I just said!

App Question
This might sound stupid. I applied got a email saying thanks for applying as soon as I hit "submit", and got the "past crew member additional info" link (so I assume B6 received my app). Though under "Application Status" just shows past 2 times I applied in March and before in November, and not this recent time which was the day it opened Aug 7th. If anyone has any insight on this or maybe I just should reapply again.
Thanks in advanced and Happy Sunday preseason football!

Course that could all change but I haven't seen anything about a reduction yet.

Pg 22 has the delivery schedule. That's the most recent I'm aware of. I know it shows 24 more 190s but I wouldn't count on that. Imo.
