And that's my point....you can hold the Bus CA but choose not to for QOL reasons and that's great. But to give a lower raise to the bus for the purpose of keeping the 190 coupled to it makes no sense.
I find it interesting our own Union put out a product that shows our 190 at/near the top of the pay scale for its class.....sounds like a little pilot expectation management going on to me.

The only person talking about giving a lower raise is you. Again you are the one willing to leave the 190 because you think it's the only way the bus will get a raise.

No I'm not. Most people who look at this objectively realize what I'm saying makes sense. You're emotionally and personally involved....I get it.

Well I would have to be personally involved right? But reading the thread most people must not be objective because they don't seem to agree with you. All we are saying is don't look at the 190 now and say well it's industry leading so that's good enough. We are suppose to BUILD on everything so why not build on the the 190 rates and keep pushing it higher. You are right the bus pay sucks and needs to come up and nobody is saying it shouldn't. All people are saying is don't go into negotiations ready to leave 800 pilots behind. You are just as emotional as me no matter how objective you say you are. It's the start for every single CBA we have and if we dork it up we will spend the future trying to fix it. You should have a personal interest in that.

I think we need to label this thread "Latest and Greatest about JetBlue" since it covers more than just hiring trends. Lots of different topics going on with good info. Or, maybe we can get one of those cool multi threads like the other guys have where it just says "JetBlue"....

What's the latest on the May classes? Are all of the December interview guys already scheduled?

No. My point is there will be certain amount of money and how are we going to divide it? It needs to go towards Pay, increased manning, better work rules, avg daily/FDP mins, better vacation/sick system, etc.... So while I think we should ALL get a pay raise, my guess is the preponderance of the raise will go to the Bus. Will there be a token raise for the 190. Maybe. But when the new proposed pay scales are unveiled, the significant amount will be allocated to the 320.....that's all I'm saying
