That's what I thought too. Then age 60->65 rule change happened and the music stopped for 5 years.

Good points... Agreed. I guess I don't have a choice but to pray for growth being junior. Attrition would be nice, but since it's not an option here... let's buy some more planes!!!!

Lack of growth will bring on attrition.

Verified on the "where did they go" thread of BP. Maybe not 90%, but by far the majority.

Speaking of growth, 2 new code shares. Air Serbia and Thomas cook. Air Serbia is a shady ME3 venture if i'm not mistaken. Anybody still think we'll be getting widebodies? Sounds like the plan is to run a virtual international operation to feed the domestic network.

I'm still thinking we will. Code share in multiple regions throughout the world and find the best markets. Connecting foreign passengers to JetBlue through code sharing is the cheapest international marketing we can do (actually making money). Getting the U.S. customer is the easy part, filling up the plane on the way back is a little harder. These code shares are helping establish routes for the future and help fill up our seats here.

I have no problem with Code sharing at this stage of the game. But once we have 300+ aircraft, and a bit larger domestic foot print to feed it, that's when I will start to get concerned.
