Default Need help with bidding

Quick question for anyone who can help!
I have a default bid, but I need to try to get off from Aug 7-Aug 14. I know if I bid resv I can at least hold weekends off. If I want to try bidding for these days off and a hard line how would I enter that into NavTech?
Best to do each day separately or like this?
7 through 14th
7-13th
7-12th
7-10th
What would be the best way to enter my bid to improve my chances of holding that time off?? How would I enter the bid so that if I couldn't hold
those days off it would grant me a resv line with those days off?
Thanks to anyone who can answer!

Just bid the days off on a your normal pairings bid with an "else start next" which will send you to your next bid (reserve) if you don't get them all off

e.g.:
1. Start Pairings bid:
2. Prefer off aug 7th, 8, 9.10,11,12,13, 14th else start next
3. (all your trip preferences)

4. Start Reserve bid:
5. prefer off 7th - 14

Try to get a 2 day during the week, because the reserve grid will be green on those days and you can drop it, or put it on the trade board. Weekday trips are easy to drop. So do something like 7-9 off, 2 day trip 10-11, and off 12-14.

LGB is Airbus only, is cobased with LAX and is very senior. You are looking at 1 year minimum but it could take multiple years. This is all subject to change if west coast flying is increased.

LGB? Didn't you hear? We're buying frontier. You'll be DEN based out of training.

How long to hold FLL in the bus? I heard FLL is growing in the near future... And what is the mix of E190 and bus in the last classes? What would be the drop on the next classes any guess?
