That *IS* a problem.

Oh gosh dude you and others are far far far from being silenced on here.
I could argue you do the same to Mr juice box, mocking is a good way to get someone to shut up.

We get along but you make me laugh if you feel your views or others are silenced on here.

Yeah he offers a different view so what. Let the people reading decide, and if he isn’t all there as others are saying people will ignore him. Just like some ignore you and many ignore me.

Heck I would say you have definitely had plenty of influence on this site.
Not saying good or bad but your points and observations are definitely made here.

(I also agree with you about the cleaning)

At no point did I say it *ISN’T* a problem. The problem is your constant whining about it. We all know, you don’t like that policy. Congrats, you are on board with roughly 95% of your coworkers. Such a special boy.

Many, if not most new-hires don't know about the policy. I literally did not know when I was hired.

So I reject the idea that "we all know".

I am talking about it more right NOW, because the company has just lied to the FAA to get a new interpretation (calling it de minimis, which would mean not really cleaning) and sending threatening emails to us pilots.

And I talked about it previously because so many of you guys said "it's not required", which was NOT correyby written company policy. Funny how none of you guys have come back and said you were wrong now that the company has re-confirmed that REQUIREMENT.

Dude, I said "attempts" to silence. Makes all the difference in the world. He's trying to shame me into silence by saying I should stop "whining" about it.

Yeah, no.

He could have just said, "I have a different opinion and don't think it's a big deal". Instead he wants me to stop expressing MY opinion.

Well his attempts aren’t very successful. Both sides on here do it.
It’s just like someone having a positive post and being called a juicer.

Also I don’t think there is ANY risk of you not expressing you opinion

The argument here is what is considered "duty".

Either way the union and the airline are not going to touch this. If the airline ever suspended someones pass privileges for specifically not cleaning this would incite a fire storm. The union would claim duty and put every pilot into rest for 10 hours and the company would then do the same. This would be a loss for both sides and both know it. This whole issue is "don't ask, don't tell" and leave it at that.

And before someone chimes in with a brothers, uncles, sisters, cousins scenario this has not happened and if anything it was related to one employees verbal altercation with another.

Back to the application window topic all applicants need to realize that Jetblue is a cult that runs(poorly) an airline. This whole cleaning thing is the essence of communications and idealism at Jetblue airways. The concept of we are all equal is a thinly veiled attempt to force everyone to accept the lowest common denominator i.e, pay, benefits etc.
At every other legacy you will contractually have better pay, benefits and retirement. You won't have to deal with this CULTure crap that airline still hangs on to and your upgrade times will be much faster. If you live at a Jetblue base then...

Never in Jetblues history has the "For Sale" sign shined brighter. Good luck to all in your decision making process. Educate yourself and accept any job, particularly this one, with open eyes.
