It's just a dig against Bart because he insisted on posting pictures of him in his AA Captain uniform on the flight ops page. And then there was the picture of him hiding his FO stripes at the Airbus delivery in Alabama, and on and on...

IIRC, when he started at JetBlue he signed a few emails as "Captain". In my mind he forfeited that title at AA. He's an FO on the JB list. I realize it's a minor point of contention compared to other actions, however.

So any ideas on how long this will take to go through the dispute process?

Oh and on the topic of yesterday's hot topic, any guesses as to the odds for stock buybacks with a new CFO?

If no one participates in check in we can't all be disciplined. Also ALPA cannot say not to participate. They will tell you we are required to follow the FOM.
We got chastised by TPA gate today because we were "1 min late" to show. Starbuck's in hand (all 5 of us) which ticked them off. But the standard according to the gate is that 5 minutes early is on time. Therefore, one minute late is actually four minutes early. And we pushed 5 early. So plus 1 is actually minus 4 which equals minus five. Common core. Embrace it.

Ummm since when do pilots and fas answer to a gate agent? What a joke. How many times have We waited on a gate agents. I've lost count.

Hmmm reading FAR 117 I can seem to find the t-5 prior to duty ruling.

No on time is on time. See this is the problem it does not have to be like this but for some reason flt ops or the ELT or someone is driving this crap. I can be so SOP it is not even funny. We can play games, I like games. All this will do is solidify the the pilot group.
My answer to that gate agent would be if you have an issue email my CP, I am not about to get yelled at by you.

Reminiscent of the release of the dependability policy years ago. They can thank that policy for a lot of yes votes in the Union drive.

Things seemed to be going halfway decent with negotiations. Why poke the bear? The signer of the email is former American Airlines managament. A company that had a toxic relationship with labor. I really hope that doesn't happen here.
Unfortunately, we've gotta start preparing for this to get worse before we even come close to a contract. Jetblue management is going to force us into public protest like SWAPA and Delta. Im starting to save for a possible strike in the next year- although we're not there yet, my feeling is that Jetblue will only respond to public spectacle that hurts the brand- This latest insult is intolerable- I hope the newbies realize this and stand by the union.

We need a new highly visible lanyard.

Doing this QDL and it says max taxi speed 30 kts. Who the hell can walk at 30 kts. Fastest man alive can barely run in the 20's
