I'm curious how the union will proceed with fighting this. Will it be a grievance?
The union says it's a unilateral work rule change/change in pilot duties. How will the company counter this argument?
Clearly the 1 hour show time rule hasn't changed, but their method of tracking it has, requiring additional pilot duties (opening the app and checking in).
Our duties do change from time to time, minor things here and there. Do we basically just agree to those implicitly if they're seen as neutral whereas clearly this additional duty is just a duty meant to police us?

Does this apply to reserve? Seems like the GPS lockout would have fits. I can just see a 3am start time. Im going to set an alarm, wake up my wife just so I can report that yes, I am indeed at home. Caring, fun and safe all rolled into one!

I'd imagine it would apply to reserves once they have an assignment. Checking in at home for a reserve window doesn't make much sense.

I wish I could do that, but I just found a work-around way to do it.
To the guys that have sent PMs- I'll get them set up in a few hours. I'm out with the fam for the day. Hang tight.

Ok I should be all caught up, anyone still waiting PM me emp# and JB email. Also when you first log in to BP go to your profile section and check No under the 'Always check spelling before posting' option. If you leave it checked yes then you'll get an error message when you try to post.
