And... it will be very difficult to ever get this industry standard benefit called Profit Sharing from a company so emotionally attached to not sharing. It's MUCH more difficult to get PS when you don't have something the company wants from you as a group. That's just reality.
To antbar, I generally agree with your post, right up until the end. IF any part of the scope is to be relaxed to allow this codeshare, it should come with great compensation to address the monetary value of the codeshare/scope and to compensate for the additional risk pilots take on from the scope changes.
Ha, Payne beat me to it.

JetBlue Latest and Greatest
Another emotional email.
Send it back. Get better protections. Leave out the focus city garbage and international code that is within our aircrafts ability.
If Jetblue is the one gaining all this flying and it’s American that wants to put their code on all our airplanes then this should be a no brainer for them.
I don’t care if we put code on an American 777 to Israel or the UAE. They shouldn’t however have the ability to put B6 code on routes we are capable of flying ourselves.

To Softpay, no, not entirely well stated. Why does it have to be one OR the other. IF we are to give any relief, it should be well compensated.

Thank you to seekingblue for sharing your yes arguments. I am trying my best to keep an open mind.
That being said, the LOA allows for 35% of of flying (focus to focus, focus to Caribbean) to be outsourced to an AA regional (or to a post bankruptcy mainline). The union and the company claims that this will not happen. Thank you. Would you kindly put that in writing?
I love Jetblue and want the best for the company. Often times our interests our aligned. Sometimes not. This is just a business relationship. Nothing personal. 7 (or 11) years is a long time. I’m getting old.
